Do Good Because You Want to, Not Because You Want Aknowledgement

I know we all have that one person we know who loves recognition and acknowledgement for every “good deed” they do. When you do something positive out of the kindness of your heart, you should do it willingly, even if you never receive acknowledgement for it. The reward, from doing good, comes in the form of blessings and that is the real “acknowledgement!”  If you feel as if you haven’t progressed in life the way you planned, maybe you should change your focus.  Don’t focus so much on your own needs, but rather turn your attention to the needs of others.  When you become a blessing to someone else, that’s when you start to find your purpose and opportunities will come knocking at your door.  I know because I have experienced this first hand!  I have never felt so accomplished in my life until I started reaching out to others through this mission of my organization. Make it a point to do something positive for someone other than yourself, at least once a day and watch the way your perspective of life changes!
