Okay, so I have to address this with my ladies because this seems to be a growing trend seeing as how our lives revolve around social media. I don’t knock anyone’s hustle, but I refuse to believe that the women of our generation have reduced themselves to shear “popularity” from social media “likes” and exposure. I think it’s wonderful if you’re promoting a brand or legitimate business but promoting your body parts doesn’t exactly make you a “real woman.” Now don’t get me wrong, there are professional models, (video vixens/strippers don’t count), who get paid to show off they’re bodies in various garments and there’s nothing wrong with that but noticed I said professional, as in signed to an accredited agency.
All I’m saying is that we must do better. Being beautiful and being recognized for it is all good but where is your substance? Do you know that those looks won’t last forever? Last time I checked, nobody is mailing anyone a check for Instagram likes. I know the old saying, “If you got it, flaunt it,” and I love to take a sexy photo every now and then myself but make sure there’s an educated mind behind all that beauty. Boys like good looking girls but men admire beautiful and intelligent women.
